Entry Level Tech Support (Apps and Products)

You’re a natural with technology; you’re confident in your computer aptitude and enthusiastic about IT gadgets. Within your group of friends, you’re the one who’s always discovering cool apps and tech products -knowing how they work inside and out. You love to problem solve and work through the kinks; navigating through new devices and researching ‘How-To’s” is all part of the fun.  You’re probably glued to your smart phone, have all the latest apps, and enjoy helping and sharing with others. If this sounds like you, this might be the job you’re looking for.

In this role, you’ll become a master of hardware and software troubleshooting for revolutionary smart devices and apps connected to mobile phones and computer platforms. Your technical know-how coupled with our on-the-job training will enable you to provide our client’s customers with a seamless experience and improve how they use their devices. You’ll provide support for a wide range of products that focus on a lifestyle of health and wellness – changing the way customers do everyday things.

  • Full-time, year-round, 37.5 hours per week positions

  • Starting wage rate is $12.00/hr.

  • Rotating shifts between 8am and 11pm, Monday through Sunday, including holidays

  • Paid training provided

Your major responsibilities will be:

  • Provide customers with a superior customer service experience.

  • Accurately diagnose issues and advise customers with respect to hardware, software, general customer support solutions, and mobile phones and computer platforms.

  • Analyze symptoms and recommend solutions to problems.

  • Research questions utilizing appropriate resources.

  • Install and uninstall basic software. Verify proper hardware and software set-ups.

  • Fulfill customer requirements utilizing established processes and procedures.

  • Effectively learn and utilize the software and hardware to meet the clients’ needs.

  • Problem-solve to find the right solution for the customer and create a positive interaction with the customer.

As a successful applicant, you:

  • Are reliable to your core. Your friends and previous employers would describe you as totally dependable.

  • Have some level of college, university or technical school/community college education with a technology focus or a combination of work and education experience.

  • Have a couple of years’ experience in a technical customer support role.

  • Have good working knowledge of computer set-up configuration (PC), plus working knowledge of software, hardware, PC, Mac, and Windows.  You can easily navigate application menus.

  • Possess technical aptitude – you can learn technical applications quickly so you can focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience.

  • Have great multi-tasking skills and the ability to working a fast-paced environment.

  • Can follow procedures accurately.

  • Have great empathy and patience.

  • Are detail-oriented.

  • Are a team player with strong oral and written communications skills.
